BIANG!
The Art of Noodles

After Bolognese, the visual story of handmade pasta in Emilia, comes Biang! — a narrative journey between China and Italy through the culture of noodles.
A cross-media project combining documentary, photography, and short-form content to promote tourism, culture, and authentic food.
Featuring Ginevra Barducci — author, sinologist, and narrator of the project.
Corpi in Cucina
Kitchen Bodies

From the intimacy of the kitchen emerges Kitchen Bodies — a visual and performative exploration of gesture, memory, and presence around food.
A multidisciplinary project blending video, movement, and culinary rituals to reflect on the body as both tool and storyteller.
Co-created with Sarah Pini — performer, researcher, and sibling collaborator.
Impressione // Giorgio Morandi
The essence of Morandi, in light and landscape.

Impressione // Giorgio Morandi is a poetic short film that traces the light, silence, and landscapes of the artist’s world between Bologna and Grizzana.
A cinematic tribute that blends Morandi’s own words with the stillness of places that shaped his vision.
Part of Impressionario // Lives of Artists, an award-winning documentary series published on Wired.
INFINITO
The Art of Living Through Illness

A series of dance short films created by siblings Sarah and Ruggero Pini, blending movement, cinema, and memory.
Born from a cancer diagnosis, Infinito transforms pain into poetry — each episode is a visual metaphor of Sarah’s experience of living with illness over ten years.
An intimate story of resilience, love, and the healing power of art.
L’amore delle tre melagrane
A visual fable of femininity, nature, and transformation

A dreamlike reinterpretation of a classic Italian fairytale through fashion, photography, and cinematic storytelling.
Inspired by Italo Calvino’s Fiabe Italiane, this project blends editorial visuals, video, and book design to evoke a suspended world of sensuality, nature, and myth.
Shot in the Apennines across ancient villas, waterfalls, and timeless interiors, it features three female figures reimagined as modern nymphs, dressed in fluid, hybrid garments.
Impressione // Carbonel
A short film on street art, resistance, and poetic rebellion in Recife

A raw glimpse into the life and poetry of a street artist in Recife’s favelas.
This 4-minute documentary captures Carbonel’s work and voice within Brazil’s underground scene — between murals, memory, and resistance.
Part of Impressionario // Lives of Artists, an award-winning series exploring the intersection of art and everyday life.
